Chimes of Saturn – Bronze

This chime is named for the brightly ringed 6th planet from the sun. Because of Saturn’s large mass and resulting gravity, climate conditions are extreme – wind speeds can reach 1,800 km/h. Saturn is sometimes called « The Jewel of the Solar System » because of its beautiful rings, which are wide and thin. Saturn is the second largest planet, big enough to hold more than 760 Earths, but has a density less than water. It’s also the root of the word « Saturday, » which is sometimes thought of as « the jewel of the week » here on Earth.
